INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

On November 15, 2021, President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) into law. Also known as the “Bipartisan Infrastructure Law,” this legislation is a generational investment in America’s intermodal transportation system, of which freight rail is integral part of. The investments will help to make our nation’s rail network safer, more reliable, resilient, sustainable, and equitable. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will provide unprecedented amount of federal funding for rail improvement projects across America over the next five years. It includes $102 billion in total rail funding, which will help expand existing Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) programs and creating new programs to enhance our nation’s rail network.
